Session fees, extended health benefits, payment policy, and accessible pricing options.
My current professional designation is
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
Many extended health benefit plans provide coverage for psychotherapy services. However, some policies exclude practitioners with Qualifying status or only reimburse services provided by another professional designation, such as a Registered Psychologist or Registered Social Worker.
Coverage depends on your individual policy. I cannot guarantee reimbursement, and clients are responsible for confirming their eligibility directly with their insurance provider before beginning services.
Questions to Ask Your Insurance Provider
I recommend contacting your insurer and asking:
Does my plan cover services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)?
Does my insurer require my therapist’s clinical supervisor’s name and registration number on the receipt?
What percentage or dollar amount is reimbursed per session?
Is there an annual maximum for psychotherapy services?
Do I require a physician’s referral?
Are virtual psychotherapy sessions covered?
Are group psychotherapy sessions covered?
Session Fees
60-minute session: $138
75-minute session: $150
90-minute session: $163
120-minute session: $175
Fees for groups, workshops, and other specialized offerings vary and will be clearly listed on the applicable program page.
Open Studio and non-psychotherapy offerings, like workshops, are not eligible for reimbursement through extended health benefits.

Payment and Receipts
Payment is due at the time of the session. Following your appointment, you will receive an invoice by email with the option to pay online by credit card or e-transfer. The Jane system can keep a Credit Card on file that I can charge after sessions with your consent.
Once payment has been received, you will be issued a receipt containing my professional designation and CRPO registration number and my supervisors credentials. You can submit this receipt to your insurer for reimbursement.
I do not currently offer direct billing. Clients are responsible for paying the full session fee and seeking reimbursement from their insurance provider.
Sliding-Scale Sessions
If you do not have insurance coverage and the standard fee presents a financial barrier, a limited number of sliding-scale spaces may be available, with reductions of up to 50%.
Sliding-scale availability is limited and is discussed individually based on financial need, service availability, and my current capacity. Please contact me if you would like to explore this option.
